As a proud member of 1% for the Planet, we commit at least 1% of annual revenue to nonprofit organizations working toward a healthier environment and stronger communities. Our giving is an extension of the same philosophy that guides our design work: thoughtful choices create lasting impact.

Our 1% for the Planet Member Commitment

As a 1% for the Planet member, NikNan Design:

• Donates at least 1% of annual revenue to approved nonprofit partners

• Prioritizes environmental and environmental health initiatives

• Supports organizations creating measurable, long-term impact

• Publicly shares our giving approach and values
  

We are honored to be part of a global network of businesses using their resources to support positive environmental change. The environments we live, work, and grow in shape our health, our communities, and our future. We believe environmental wellbeing and human wellbeing are deeply connected.

Our giving focuses on prevention, long-term solutions, and organizations addressing the root causes of environmental and public health challenges. By supporting mission-driven nonprofits, we aim to contribute to meaningful systems-level change beyond the work we do for clients.

Our Impact Focus

NikNan Design prioritizes nonprofit partners working at the intersection of environmental sustainability and community health, including:

• Environmental protection and ecosystem restoration

These focus areas align with the 1% for the Planet Impact Areas, including Rights to Nature, Conservation & Restoration, Resilient Communities, and Just Economies.

We commit that at least two-thirds of our annual giving supports organizations advancing these environmental impact areas.
