The Challenge
Misty Mountain has been an Estes Park, Colorado home away from home for over 30 years. When the new owners took over the property they wanted to completely overhaul the brand while maintaining the approachability and name recognition. Misty Mountain is the first of what will be several mountain lodge-type properties that Timber Haus owns. The area is frequented by families visiting Rocky Mountain National Park hoping to spot the local Elk that frequent Misty’s front lawn.
The Solution
In order to address the need to adapt to different properties in the future, the logo was designed with the intention to be able to switch out the name, elevation, location, and animal to be representative of the next property in the portfolio of lodges.
The branding includes multiple variations to support different brand applications, from small-scale room keys to large-scale monument signage.
