A Brand Refresh Rooted in Legacy and Built for Expansion
Misty Mountain Lodge has been a home away from home in Estes Park, Colorado for over 30 years. When new ownership stepped in, they wanted to reimagine the brand without losing the warmth and recognition that returning guests had come to love. With plans to expand the Misty Mountain model across multiple properties, the brand needed to be both memorable and adaptable — capable of evolving with future lodge locations while staying rooted in the character of the Rockies.
We created a flexible brand identity system that honors the property's legacy and sets the stage for growth. The custom logo was designed with interchangeable elements — including animal, elevation, and location — to scale across the Timber Haus portfolio. The visual system includes multiple logo variations, a warm and natural color palette, and brand collateral that spans from key cards to monument signage. We also brought the refreshed brand to life online through a custom Wix website, ensuring the experience feels as welcoming and grounded as the lodge itself.
