The Challenge
Happy Hideaways is Hideaway Pizza’s beloved annual tradition where they commission a local artist to design a limited-edition holiday pizza box. The challenge was to develop an engaging and cohesive visual experience that brought their mascot, Kahuna, into the festive spotlight while making every touchpoint, from packaging to apparel, feel like part of a magical moment that reinforced the playful brand personality.
The Solution
We designed the Happy Hideaways campaign around a whimsical snow globe concept featuring Kahuna surrounded by swirling pizza toppings as snow, merging holiday nostalgia with the brand’s quirky charm. This theme carried across limited-edition pizza boxes, festive cups, menus, and t-shirts, turning everyday items into shareable, joy-filled moments. The result was a cohesive, immersive customer experience that celebrated the spirit of the season while keeping Hideaway’s unique identity front and center.
